Glücksgefühle: Mein heißer Gewürzapfeltee!

hot spiced apple tea

When temperatures drop , it's sometimes difficult to fight off a cold - especially since the pharmaceutical industry draws attention to its miracle cures with cold-blooded commercials just in time for the start of autumn. Fortunately, there are many ways to enjoy the beautiful aspects of the cold season and stay fit. A good book and a hot spiced apple tea strengthen the mind, body and soul. If you like browsing through cookbooks, we recommend the colorful Barcelona cookbook by Stephan Mitsch. I would of course be happy to add a tip for the matching hot spiced apple tea at this point: This particularly intense tea variation is not only suitable for cold autumn and winter days, it can also be enjoyed cold in warmer temperatures .

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 cm fresh ginger root
  • 1 pinch of ground tonka bean (alternatively: vanilla)
  • 1 lime
  • 2 apples
  • 6 tbsp Java Kiss coconut blossom sugar
  • 250 ml cold water
  • 500 ml boiling water

Preparation:

  1. Wash the lime and apple, cut into pieces and remove the seeds. Puree the fruit together with the spices, cold water and Java Kiss coconut blossom sugar in a blender.
  2. At the end, pour boiling water and serve warm. Much joy !
