Jackfruit on skewers

Summertime is grilling time! With our delicious jackfruit barbecue skewers you will surprise at every barbecue party! Quickly prepared, with a delicious marinade - vegan grilling is delicious and fun!

Ingredients for the marinade:

  • 5 tbsp lemon juice
  • 5 tbsp oil, e.g. B. Coconut oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 5 tsp paprika powder
  • 5 tsp herbs of your choice, dried
  • Pepper salt

Ingredients for the skewers:

Preparation of the marinade:

  1. Mix lemon juice and oil
  2. Stir in garlic, paprika powder, herbs, pepper and salt.
  3. Complete!

Preparation of the skewers:

  1. Wash the peppers and zucchini. Rinse the nectarines and pat dry if they were canned.
  2. Cut the peppers, zucchini and nectarines into pieces of approximately the same size.
  3. Add the jackfruit pieces to the marinade along with the remaining ingredients. Stir well and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
  4. Skewer the peppers, jackfruit pieces, zucchini and nectarines alternately.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and brush them with a little oil and turn them from time to time.
The vegetarian grilled skewers harmonize wonderfully with a rice salad based on our red whole grain Indian Tiger Umbra rice . Bon appetit!
