The popular Margaritha cocktail was first mentioned in the Café Royal Cocktailbook in 1937 as a sophisticated drink under the name “Picador”. The Lotao version with Java Kiss coconut blossom sugar conjures up a noble, sweet note on the palate. The mezcal also gives the mixture a slightly woody aroma and overall more intensity.
Ingredients:
- 50 ml mezcal
- 25 ml fresh lime juice
- 2 tsp Java Kiss coconut blossom sugar
- 4 ml Orange Curacao
