Java Margarita Cocktail

The popular Margaritha cocktail was first mentioned in the Café Royal Cocktailbook in 1937 as a sophisticated drink under the name “Picador”. The Lotao version with Java Kiss coconut blossom sugar conjures up a noble, sweet note on the palate. The mezcal also gives the mixture a slightly woody aroma and overall more intensity.

Mix all the ingredients for the cocktail well over ice in a shaker and pour in twice through the sieve. You can also decorate the glass with a wonderful crusta - rub the edge of the cocktail glass with lemon and dip it in a fine sugar-spice mixture (e.g. cinnamon / vanilla).
